My connection to Bosco starts with my 13 year old son, who just attended his first camp at Bosco in 2023. He has attended other camps before, but no other camps got him this excited and happy. He recounted his ten-day experience in detail the entire 3 hour trip home and he even started planning next year’s adventure. For me that was a testament to how great of an adventure he experienced.
Many hours of my youth were spent outdoors hunting, fishing, camping and anything in between. My educational training took place at Lakeland College in Adventure Tourism and Human Resources. I have a very diverse work experience where I hope my skills can be of benefit to the Bosco board. Most recently I worked as the Program Director at another children’s summer camp for one season. Although this was a short time, this experience highlighted the importance of what a camp experience means to many campers and staff. I live on an acreage near Laird with my wife and 4 children and I am the caretaker at Laird School.
