St John Bosco camp has been part of many people's lives since 1958, and with the exception of 2020, Bosco has hosted summer camps every year since. Due to the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic and not running camps in 2020 as well as reduced capacity groups for 2021 camp has been under financial strain. Now with the wildfire threat camp is at great risk.

Please help us keep camp alive and donate whatever you can. Donations over $30 are eligible for a charitable donation receipt. If you would like more information on donation options please contact a board member, or click the link below.

Makes me sad to see all the trees gone, but it was a necessary step as a lot of them were standing dead and posing a building hazard as well as a fire hazard, still I will shed a tear 😢

Such mixed feelings. ❤️💔❤️ On one hand, so glad to see that the buildings are safe. On the other hand, heartbroken to see the surroundings so bare. It looks so strange.

Non of you will remember this but 1977 saw the same thing and Bosco came back in a new surrounding with all the areas moved to spaces that still had trees standing. What is incredible yet again is that the chapel has obviously been surrounded by fire and not touched. It brings back memories. Bosco will survive this and carry on as it has done before.

Thinking of you all and keeping you in our prayers! Glad to hear you can resume your summer, all the best to you!

Dammmmn looks so much different with no tree around mikes. Had to be done!

2021 Camp Summer Programs Update!

Most of our programs are full! With the lack of interest in Wilderness Out-tripping Skills, we have canceled both sessions. With this cancellation, we can now add a possible third Canoe Out-tripping Skills from August 6 - August 13. We will be starting a waitlist for this possible offering. To make this a reality a Minimum of 6 Campers is needed.

To get put on the waitlist please contact our Camp Manager Bernie Vossen at manager@johnboscocamp.com.

Camper registrations for 2021 are now open and dates/fees available on the summer programs page of our website (johnboscocamp.com/summer-programs/). Spots are limited and registrations are being accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis so be sure to register your children as soon as possible to confirm your spot! Our office is happy to answer any questions you may have about our programs at info@johnboscocamp.com or 1-844-752-6726.

This year, we will only be able to offer our senior out-tripping programs for Saskatchewan residents only. Due to our limited ability to safely distance groups at main camp, we will regrettably not be able to accommodate junior or intermediate campers nor out-of-province campers. Our highest priority continues to be the safety of our campers and staff and we are choosing to offer only programs we are confident we can offer safely regardless of any further reopen announcements from the provincial government. We hope to be able to resume our usual programs next year.

Thank you for your time and patience with us during these uncertain times. Be healthy and safe and keep experiencing God's nature around you!

Yes is it!

Is this still operating? I tried to drop off a load a couple of weeks back and, after typing boscocamp a persons name came up...

Dear Bosco Family,

Happy New Year! We hope that you are all safe and healthy during this time.

We are starting to get questions about this upcoming summer at camp, but at this moment we don’t yet have any solid answers. We are currently looking at all the available possibilities for running programs this summer, however we must monitor the developing pandemic situation and follow all guidance for overnight camps provided by the government. It is clear to us already that if camp goes ahead this summer, it will have to be run differently to ensure the safety of our campers and staff.
As the situation develops and more news is available, we will post updates to our website and social media pages. Please check back often for more information. During this time, Bosco continues to look for donations and grant funding to cover the cost of our operations and our Kitchen Campaign for a new dining hall. We thank you in advance if you are able to contribute in this way.

Thank you and we hope to see you this summer!

Feasting on Wild raspberries is the very best thing in life! We have lots of chokecherries (made some tasty syrup!) and Saskatoon berries at Monahan!

Let's start 2021 off with a bit of tranquility.
