#BoscoTBT thanks for sharing your space with us! Your Monahan friends Joe Camper
#BoscoTBT great memories of our staff canoe trip 2020. Looking forward to many more to come!
This photo wasn’t taken at camp, but it was during a break in between May/June school sessions and summer camp. Swamp Bear Art - Joel Palmer - and I had just gotten our ALE job assignment, and we spent the break “councillor bonding” and plotting out how to make our ALE the “most hardcore ever”. My camp bestie Amber Rae is in the pink shirt- I always stayed at her house in Saskatoon while we were on break and the two of us were poor influences on each other. We were just babies- who thought we were qualified for the job?! Charlie Conner Shane Kelly 😂😂😂
Photo from A.L.E 2007. About to be dropped off on our 24HR solos.
OMG!!!! ... sooooo many memories of that place .....
Hello, Friends and Families Of St. John Bosco Wilderness Camp. We (the Board) have been working with Sask Camps Association during the pandemic working on ways to help camps and now we need your help. Please take some time over the next month and please write letters to your MLA's and MP's about how summer camp changed your life and all the positives of having it around. We need better direction from our governing bodies and more understanding of our situations when camp is not open. Here is a message that the SCA sent to us and now we send it to you
"#SAVECANADIANCAMPS Across Canada, camps are struggling with the impacts of a lost summer season and an uncertain future. The COVID-19 pandemic could have lasting permanent effects on the camp industry.
Read more about the impact at www.thankstocamp.ca and how to help in the lobbying efforts still needed at a federal level. Write to your local MP this weekend! If you have already written to them - WRITE AGAIN!
Information about lobbying our federal government can also be found on the SCA Website www.saskcamps.ca/advocating/. Share this information and request for continued letter writing with your camp supporters, communities, and families. ... See MoreSee Less
